Video Still from a new project in digital manipulation. Looking at how technology and society are separated but created using similar forms of representation I am exploring the role of science and technology in the picturesque, tourism and the cosmos. Layers in this video will reveal through the transparency of the traditional picturesque an orbiting image from the Hubble Space Telescope. This piece employs a similar technique to the infinate film I made earlier. The video is shot before sunrise yet the sun never rises. Shot using a Sony PD100 in 4:3 aspect ratio.
